Our weekly programme at Longstanton TC will begin from 16th September!

Our programme for the Autumn Term will be as follows;

Mondays;
4-5pm - Red ball (5-8yr olds)
5-6pm - Orange/Green ball (9-11yr olds)
6-7pm - Yellow ball (12-16yr olds)
7-8pm - Adult beginner / intermediate
8-9pm - Adult Advanced

BOOKINGS - These are made on a termly basis. The Autumn Term bookings (16th September to 16th December) have been released already, therefore, please go to www.gamesettennis.co.uk to secure your place!

EQUIPMENT - All equipment is provided for the lessons but if you have your own racket, feel free to bring it along.

PRIVATE LESSONS - If you are looking for a one-off lesson to work on a weakness, or a regular slot, we have availability during weekday daytime/evening and weekends. Please get in touch with toby@gamesettennis.co.uk for more information.

If you are interested in lessons, but the Monday evenings do not suit your schedule, please let us know and we will do our best to set up a session on a different day.

We are pleased to announce that, together with Cambourne Netball Club, we are launching walking Netball and Tennis sessions this year.

Please join one of the free taster sessions at the Netball and Tennis Club on Friday, July 5th and Friday, July 12th at 10:30 am!

After the activities, join us in the clubhouse for coffee and cake, allowing us to socialise and enjoy each other's company.

Our annual Christmas Awards afternoon returns to C

Our annual Christmas Awards afternoon returns to Cambourne Tennis Club ! We will be running a fun games session with Toby and his assistants on the courts, followed by an awards ceremony where we will have lots to eat and drink, with music too.

This will take place on SUNDAY 3rd DECEMBER, 12-2.30pm, first on the courts then heading over the the Sports Pavilion.

More details as follows;

12-1pm - Fun games session on the courts. Children and adults will play games such as toilet flush, catch out and king of the court, all with a festive twist!

1-1.30pm - Food/Drink and Music. We will then move to the Sports Pavilion. If you would prefer not to attend the games session, please arrive at this time.

There will be a £5/person charge or £15/family (4 or more) to cover the cost of the food/drink.

1.30-2.30pm - The awards ceremony. The committee will be handing out awards which are mainly directed towards children.

You can invite friends and neighbours to register too - as long as one adult or child from each doubles pair is a member, you are in.

If you don't have a partner don't worry, you can still enter. Register with Toby and we will find you a partner.

We usually need some extra adults to partner up with some of the kids so adults, please sign up too. You really don't have to be a tennis player to do this, honestly, anyone can join in!

- Saturday 14th October, 2.00-4.00pm at CVC
- All ages & abilities including beginners!
- Mini tennis with red balls
- £5 entry fee per pair - cash on the day to Toby
- Members only - BUT new members are welcome to join the club in order to enter the tournament. One adult or child from each pair must be a member - junior membership starts at £10/year valid until March 2024
- Prizes for the winners and all children entering
- Refreshments and cakes on offer for a small donation

WE DID IT! We played a full 24hrs of tennis!

This is my opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped to organise beforehand, on the day and to clear up afterwards.

We had a great number of players throughout the 24hrs, and a huge shoutout to those hardy folk who played between midnight and 8am… incredible commitment! I still can’t believe the quality of the points we had at 4am!!!

Thank you to those who helped run the BBQ, both Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Thank you to the Co-op and Morrisons who kindly donated some food towards the event.

Thank you to the families that made cakes/cookies, key chains or provided the BBQ food, all to sell and make more money for charity!
